Meet Our Staff

Lynnette Wood



Lynnette is a lifelong Alaskan. She grew up on Kodiak Island, and loved the subsistence life and closeknit community Kodiak offered. After high school, Lynnette went on to college at Seattle Pacific University where she met and married her husband, Jeff Wood, in 1993. She graduated with a Bio-Chem degree.

After college, she settled in Anchorage and has been living there ever since.  Jeff and Lynnette have three children; Katrina, Caleb and Kennedy. For many years Lynnette ran a successful medical transcription business out of her home while the kids were young. After Kennedy entered kindergarten, Lynnette went back to school and earned a Master’s degree in Teaching. Lynnette taught in both the public and private school systems before entering the insurance world.

She purchased Aurora National Insurance in 2012 and hasn’t looked back. Helping people understand insurance lingo and the policies they purchase is her passion.  Lynnette strives to provide an enjoyable and educational experience for businesses and families as they work with her agency to find the best insurance coverage available.

Lynnette’s hobbies are hiking, fishing, biking, books and sitting around a campfire with friends.

Scott Spooner

Commercial Sales Rep


Scott Spooner was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and moved to Africa when he was 3 years old.  He grew up petting cheetahs, feeding giraffes and riding ostriches. He graduated from Rift Valley Academy in 2011 and moved back to Michigan where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Grace Christian University. Scott came up to Alaska to visit family during the summer of 2014 and got a job commercial fishing out in Bristol Bay. He was hooked!  The call of adventure struck him that summer and he moved to Alaska just a week after graduating from college to fish for another season.

Scott has worked a variety of jobs and has been with ANI for almost a year as a salesperson. He enjoys the outdoors, art, and loves to help people get the best possible deal on their insurance policies. As the owner of his own small creative business, Scott understands the value of building something from the ground up and wants to make sure that your hard work has the best coverage for the best price.

John Andrew

Employee Benefits Consultant


John Andrew grew up in Dallas, TX, and currently resides with his wife in Fort Worth, TX. They are big fans of their dog Atikus, the TCU Horned Frogs, and local Texas musicians.

John Andrew came to the insurance industry via higher education administration, and approaches clients with an educational focus. Specializing in group health insurance, his ideal client is concerned with the effect of health insurance on the organization’s bottom line. Through sharing all available data with business owners and leaders, John Andrew collaboratively devises a customized plan to decrease costs and improve the health of clients’ employees and their families.

Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance are John Andrew’s primary specialties.

Bernice Hanson

Marketing Director


Bernice Hanson was born and raised in Spokane, WA and after high school attended Gonzaga University where she earned her Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and a minor in Management. She was the Assistant to the V.P. of Marketing of STCU until she was promoted to full-time Motherhood in 1994.  While raising her family, she did occasional marketing. Bernice moved up to Alaska in the summer of 2014 and is married to Hans Hanson. They have 3 adult children: Jessica, Nathan, and Laura and one grandchild, Adalyn. Having her first year of “empty nest” under her belt, it was time to step back into marketing. Bernice joined the ANI Team in 2021.

It has been said of her “a stranger is just a friend Bee hasn’t met yet”. Her love of people is her passion and that, combined with marketing, is why she joined the ANI Team. “I have first-hand experience of Lynnette coming alongside me to help get the insurance I needed for our vacation rental in North Idaho.  Lynnette’s personality and culture of exceptional customer care is contagious, and I wanted to be a part of that environment”. Bernice will coordinate the marketing promotions, client care, and business development.

Bernice loves hiking, biking, and flying around Alaska… especially when that is time spent with her family and friends.

Angie Williams

Customer Service Representative


Angie grew up in Vacaville, California until her freshman year of high school and then her family moved to Tieton, Washington where she finished high school. Angie married her high school sweetheart, Matt Williams. Looking for a new adventure, Angie and her husband moved to Alaska in 1996. They consider themselves blessed to call Alaska home and have been raising their 3 wonderful Alaskan grown kids here ever since.  They now have an adorable granddaughter to enjoy Alaska with as well!

Angie joined our agency in 2016. As a customer service representative, she thrives when the situation arises to help others. She is warm, helpful and cares about our clients. She says that being a part of the community and building relationships is one of the best parts of her job. When she is not working, Angie loves cooking, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys the great Alaskan outdoors.

Linda Ulrich

Customer Service Representative


Linda grew up in north Texas and moved to the beautiful Kenai Peninsula in 1990. She quickly fell in love with Alaska by enjoying outdoor recreational activities. She took her passion for the outdoors to cross country run and ski for the University of Alaska Fairbanks and received a BA in Physical Education/General Education. She was an active member of both communities coaching USSA swim team during the summers and volunteered coaching adapted programs at the YMCA in the winters in Fairbanks.

She coached high school skiing and taught in the Kenai Peninsula Borough school district until settling down in Anchorage to raise her family with her husband. She coached soccer while her children were young and taught for the Anchorage School District in various teaching positions before working with our most delicate seniors in a senior facility as a medical technician, staff trainer, and care partner. She also is involved in volunteering and coordinating events for nonprofits and booster clubs.

Linda enjoys any challenges that comes her way and embraces them positively. Linda took her next step in her career by becoming a member at ANI in 2020. Her passion for insurance comes from knowing that she has the ability to protect people and their families. She is a “people person” and loves to make people happy. Furthermore, she is a creative thinker who comes up with innovative solutions to problems. She enjoys engaging with clients and understanding their needs.

Linda also enjoys spending time with her family in Alaska’s great outdoors from berry picking to fishing and hiking. You can also find her along the Anchorage trail system throughout the year with her children or at the ballfields watching them play softball.

Coral Fadaoff



Coral Fadaoff is a long time Alaskan, born & raised in the outlying areas north of Seattle, Washington, and being brought to Alaska in 1978 with her parents and brother. She moved to Anchorage to live in 1981. After several odd jobs she went to a local business college and graduated with an Associates degree.

She started in the insurance industry in 1989 and has been learning ever since. With the industry ever growing she enjoys growing with it. She loves the challenge of finding coverage for everyone’s unique situation.

Coral’s hobbies are spending time with her family, creating art with various mediums, reading and spending time with friends.
